Laws governing nature are the laws governing us. To not include ourselves in the great scheme is delusional and arrogant.

Before entering into any arrangements base them on the sincerest of motives possible. If this is lacking then the arrangement will come unstuck.

When competing for anything at all compete only on the most liberal of terms and in the end the coup de grace to your opponent should be quick and clean.

b) Hold to him in truth and loyalty; This is without blame. Truth, like a full earthen bowl: Thus in the end Good fortune comes from without. 

c) Sincerely seeking union. No mistakes. Improvement if you are filled with sincerity. 

d) Sincerity of union is the key; 

e) Sincere commitment engenders good fortune.

a) seeking for union with one beyond himself. With firm correctness there will be good fortune. 

b) Hold to him outwardly also. Perseverance brings good fortune. 

c) Seeking union with a greater man. Auspicious if you keep to your course. 

d) There's One beyond thyself that yearns for thee. 

e) Stay true in what you do to the notion of becoming a better person.

Hex 8 Line 5

a) The most illustrious instance of seeking union and attachment. (we seem to see) the king urging his pursuit of the game (only) in three directions, and allowing the escape of all the animals before him, while the [people of his] towns do not warn one another (to prevent it). There will be good fortune. 

b) Manifestation of holding together. In the hunt the king uses beaters on three sides only and forgoes the game that runs off in front. The citizens need no warning. Good fortune. 

c) The highest example of seeking union: the king urges the hunt only on three sides; the game escapes before him. His people join in his example. Auspicious. 

d) Base well thy tower upon the people's power! 

e) Hunting without slaughter dispels the fear of those who might be quarry.

a) we see one seeking union and attachment without having taken the first step (to such an end). There will be evil.

b) He finds no head for holding together. Misfortune. 

c) He seeks union but has not even taken the first step. Ominous. 

d) Thy first step missed? Disaster thou shalt see. 

e) Without the first step the rest can not follow.
